Together with "SEVEN STARS in KYUSHU"
To all the local governments in Kyushu which have supported Classic Japan Rally,
the children who welcomed us on the route, and everyone who waved and cheered for us regardless of age or gender,
together with "SEVEN STARS in KYUSHU" celebrating its tenth year of operation,
we hold a dream journey which connects "smiles" in Kyushu,
"SEVEN STARS in KYUSHU" x "Classic Japan Rally," to see everyone again and to meet new people.
- Connecting "smiles" in Kyushu
- Classic Japan Rally has held rally events in Kyushu for rare classic cars from the 1920s to 1973 of the world with the themes of "Amakusa" in 2018, "Hirado" in 2019, "Moji-Kobe" in 2021, and "Moji" in 2022. In addition to introducing World Heritage sites, disaster reconstruction support, the history, culture, and beautiful scenery of Kyushu to people in and outside of Japan, we aim to hand down the cars which have been carefully maintained in the state in which they are still "working” even after half a century = Japanese master craftsmanship and the culture to future generations through interaction with local people such as elementary school visits.
- 10-year history of "SEVEN STARS in KYUSHU"
- In October 2013, JR Kyushu's luxury sleeper train "SEVEN STARS in KYUSHU" began operating with the theme of "Journey to discover a new way of life." The seven stars has offered the charms of Kyushu, such as abundant nature, food, culture and the history, and welcomed passengers with a warm hospitality. In addition, it has offered the ultimate train journeys you have never experienced before while connecting passengers with the brilliance of each of the seven prefectures in Kyushu and the smiles and warmth of the local people. In 2022, they announced a major renewal of the train cars and the new courses as part of the second chapter. The maximum number of passengers has decreased from 14 rooms and 30 people to 10 rooms and 20 people, and they have started a new dream journey.
