Classic Japan Rally 2023 YOKOHAMA Y164

Concept

As a satellite event of "Hama-Fes Y164", a port opening memorial event
which conveys the history of the opening of Yokohama Port,
classic cars from the 1920s to 1973 gather on Yokohama Motomachi Shopping Street
and this approximately 500 km classic car rally over three days starts.
The rally goes around exotic towns in Yokohama, Yokohama Chinatown, Nihon Odori and Minatomirai,
then goes through Hakone, where fresh green leaves will be shining in the sun,
and Gotemba to the Fuji Speedway Hotel.
We drive through beautiful winding roads in Fuefuki, Kai, and Fruit Line Road
with views of Mt. Fuji and vineyards and compete PC competitions at Fuji Speedway.
At the end of the day, we relax and relieve our tired body from the two days at the Fuji Speedway Hotel.
On the final day, we drive through Gotemba, Hakone and the Shonan area,
heading to the finish line on Yokohama Motomachi Shopping Street.
Participants will be greeted with cheers from spectators and applauded for their good fight for three days.

Day1

The rally starts at "Yokohama Motomachi Shopping Street",
one of the well-known commercial districts of Yokohama.
After competing a PC competition at the "Oiso Prince Hotel",
we pass through Hakone and Gotemba, heading to the "Fuji Speedway Hotel".

Day2

We compete a PC competition at "Fuji Speedway".
We drive through Lake Kawaguchiko and Kai, enjoy winding roads in Shosenkyo and Fruit Line Road,
then compete the second PC competition at "Fuji Speedway".
We spend the second night at the "Fuji Speedway Hotel" again.
Both participants and cars unwind from the day while waiting for the results of each class.

Day3

We pass through Gotemba, Lake Ashinoko, and Hakone Turnpike,
where you can view beautiful fresh greenery, heading to the Shonan area,
where Kamakura and Hayama are located, while feeling a pleasant sea breeze.
Passing "Harbor View Park" in Yokohama Yamate, we finish our approximately 500 km,
three-day journey at "Yokohama Motomachi Shopping Street".

Eligible Vehicles

- Vehicle entries must be sports type vehicle (originally) manufactured in Europe or America from year 1919 to 1973.
- Vehicles must be approved by the event organizer.
- Vehicles must have a valid number plate with valid car registration and valid period of inspection certificate until the conclusion of the event.

Participation Fee

80,000 yen per vehicle (up to two people) *There will be an extra charge of 30,000 yen per person if three or more people get on board.

It was held as the "All Japan Championship SUPER FORMULA" from 2013 to 2015, while it has been held as the "All Japan SUPER FORMULA Championship" since 2016.

Fuji Speedway is a circuit located in Oyama Town, Sunto District, Shizuoka Prefecture.
It has come under the umbrella of Toyota Motor Corporation since 2000.
It was used as the cycling venue for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics in 2021.

Born along with the opening of Yokohama Port,
it is a beautiful attractive area with
historical and traditional cobblestone streets.
Oiso

There is a row of pine trees
along the Old Tokaido Road,
which has been maintained since the Edo period.
You can view the beautiful Sagami Bay all year round.
Hakone

Rich in natural beauty such as
Lake Ashinoko and Sengokuhara,
Hakone is one of the most popular hot spring towns
in the Kanto region.
Its hot springs are created by Hakone volcano.
Oyama Town

Located at the foot of Mt. Fuji,
Oyama Town is known as the birthplace of Kintaro.
Fuji Speedway is in this town.
Kofu

Mitake Shosenkyo Gorge, located in the north of Kofu,
is designated as a national special scenic spot
and said to be the most beautiful gorge in Japan.
Fuefuki

Fruit Line Road,
located on the north slope of the Kofu Basin,
features a scenic route running through
an orchard area.

Vehicles manufactured in 1945 or earlier will be prioritized in some places or situations, such as where to park or the order of parking. Vehicles participated in Mille Miglia will be prioritized for this event.

About "Model Year Coefficient" and "Classified" In Classic Japan Rally 2023 YOKOHAMA Y164, the "Model Year Coefficient" is applied to the overall results. The results for each class are ranked based on "Classified". ■Overall Results: "Model Year Coefficient" applied Your score is calculated by multiplying the points given to time difference of competition sections of time trial competitions (PC) conducted in the classic car rally and the model year coefficient of your vehicle. 《Model Year Coefficient》 Vehicles with the model year of 1945 or earlier … 1.25 Vehicles with the model year of 1946 to 1957 … 1.15 Vehicles with the model year of 1958 or later … 1.0 ■Results for Each Class: "Classified" conducted We split participants into different classes depending on their ability based on their results of specified competition sections (Classified designated sections) of time trial competitions (PC) conducted in the classic car rally. Participating vehicles are divided into four classes, and the results of four days are announced for each class (the Model Year Coefficient not applied). Dividing class enables participants to know their current skill level, so no matter which level they are at, they can enjoy competitions more toward a higher rank in the class. 《How to Divide Class》 Class is divided into three levels depending on the average difference calculated by subtracting the top three worst time sections of each vehicle from valid competition sections. Class A … Drivers with an average time difference of Classified valid competitions of 0.00 seconds or more and no more than 0.07 seconds. Drivers who have finished in the top five overall in the past Classic Japan Rally tournaments. Class A … Drivers with an average time difference of Classified valid competitions of 0.00 seconds or more and no more than 0.07 seconds, and Drivers who have finished in the top five overall in the past Classic Japan Rally tournaments. Class B … Drivers with an average time difference of Classified designated sections of 0.08 seconds or more and no more than 0.15 seconds. Class C … Drivers with an average time difference of Classified designated sections of 0.16 seconds or more and no more than 0.30 seconds. Out of Class … Drivers with an average time difference of Classified designated sections of 0.31 seconds or more.

*If you use one room per person (two rooms), there will be an extra charge of 110,000 yen for standard rooms and 150,000 yen for deluxe rooms.
